Cliche, but anything with James Jamerson or Steve Cropper/Duck Dunn/Al Jackson Jr. Stax is not to be ignored while dealing with Motown.

Marv Johnson, The Reflections, The Supremes, The Temptations, Sam and Dave, The Miracles, Gladys Knight, The Four Tops, Otis Redding, The Mar-Keys, Booker T. And the MGs ...
